making a statement

Entryways are arguably one of the most important parts of a home, because they are the first thing you see when you walk in. I decided I wanted this area to be a feature, We actually started with the mirror, which we luckily found secondhand from a buying/selling app, which helps carry the gold theme throughout the place. The small area was perfect for a statement wall, so we added some fun banana leaf wallpaper. Everything else we pretty much already had, including my desk.

I'm really happy with how it came out, especially since this part of the house gets so much use, it's important for it to look nice and not too cluttered (cough storage).
