upcycled earring display diy

DIY

Hey guys!

Confession - It's been about 4 months since I moved and I have yet to unpack my jewelry :| Honestly, this whole quarantine mess has definitely made me care a lot less about my appearance so I guess not really surprising.

I had actually been planning to make an earring holder for a while now, I purchased strips of cork board and the plan was to stick my earrings into it, and incorporate wood and pastel colors. I had actually gotten started on it, when I was out walking and found a "for free" box with a bunch of awesome gold picture frames! I of course snagged them all and decided to go in a different direction with my earring display.

It's crazy, because I had always wanted to do an earring display using a gold frame, and lo and behold I had found one on the street!

Materials:

Picture Frame

Window screen mesh

Glue

Scissors

Step 1:

Measure everything out.

Step 2: Cut the amount of mesh you need.

Step 3: Glue! (Make sure it's taught)!

Step 4: Dry!

Now arrange your earrings..

And hang on the wall.....

.....Or lean it against it!

OH, and here are the other frames I picked up. Right now I have them arranged in a gallery-wall, keeping them empty. I normally love this look but for some reason I think it looks like it's lacking something maybe. What do you guys think?
